Sources used to create the overlays

This page is incomplete - it will take some time to finalise it for Cornwall & Devon in particular due to the large number of sources consulted

Old Ordnance Survey maps from various sources were used for all locations. Old large scale OS maps are available on-line (Cassini Maps, Old-Maps), from public libraries and the secondhand/antiquarian book marketplace. The Digital Archives Association also sell selected areas (e.g all of Derbyshire) on DVD (Digital Archives).
